Hello! I am Emily, and I have worked as a freelance illustrator since 2005. I have created illustrations for over one hundred greetings cards, gift wrap, children's books, toys, packaging, jewellery, canvases and various giftware items and ceramics. My specialty is developing new characters.
My illustrations are hand drawn with pencil or ink, and coloured either by hand or digitally, occasionally incorporating photography/collage. I can work in a various styles from sketchy and quirky, to simple lines suited to baby books and toy designs, to cute detailed pencil drawings which are great for fluffy animals!

I am very flexible in the way that I charge, I am happy to work on an hourly rate, project rate, to a set budget or on a royalty basis. Many clients initially like me to spend a couple of hours sketching ideas which is a great way of getting started and generating lots of new ideas for your project.
